Through the Dark

The understanding that we are part of something larger than ourselves, I believe, is nature’s greatest gift to us. With it, our own sense of identity expands and by extension, so does our connection with everything around us. The owl is a symbol of a deep connection with wisdom and intuitive knowledge, which I feel most strongly when I’m in nature. For me, the depth of the owl’s wisdom includes not only the ability to bring what is dark into the light, but also the ability to live in the dark itself. I believe it’s through facing our darkest moments and exploring the unknown, that we truly experience the magic of life.
